Yesterday was the first photo shoot for my 2010 calendar. It was a sweet Border Collie pup about 16 weeks old. Toby was the youngest pup I’ve photographed so far. To say he was full of energy was an understatement! It was a hot day and he kept finding cool places to hide – pretty smart puppy I’d say! Check back in a few days for a sneak preview from his session!
Calendar Dogs Day 1
October 10th, 2009More from the Paws & Claws Expo
October 8th, 2009I’m so busy working on this calendar that I don’t have anything exciting to write about but I did want to put up some more photos from the expo. Keep the calendar submissions coming…I may actually lose my mind!

Calendar Work
September 28th, 2009Whew! I have been working all day on the submissions I’ve had for the 2010 calendar. The deadline for submissions is October 3 and I already have close to 100 dogs to choose from. Thanks to everyone who sent in pictures of their furry friends…keep them coming! The hard part will be choosing. How do you choose when each dog is beautiful and unique in their own way?? If anyone wants to submit their dog for my calendar, click here for more information.
Well, as promised, here are a few more pup pics from the Paws and Claws Expo. Enjoy
I fell in love at the Lowcountry Pet Expo!
September 26th, 2009I told everyone at the pet expo to check my blog because I would be posting some of the pictures I took. There are so many cute pics that I’m only going to put up a few a day. I will also get them on Facebook so check there as well for you pups and cats.
This little puppy stole my heart. If I were adding another pet to my household, I think he’d be it! He and his sibling are about 8 weeks old and they are staying with foster families from the South Carolina Pit Bull Rescue while they wait for their forever home.
Here he is!
Here are both puppies.
Adventures in Traing
September 24th, 2009Last night I tried my hand at dog training. I think I had forgotten what puppy energy was like! I was working with Bobby Jo, a rescue lab puppy that is being fostered with Wild Heir Rescue. She was a jumping, kissing, lovable, sweet girl. It is an honor to be able to help get her ready for her forever home.
Here is a photo of her. Wouldn’t you like to take her home??

Is your dog a calendar dog?

If you’d like to see you furry friend in a full color calendar email me a digital picture and description of you dog (a snapshot is fine). View from the Pier
July 21st, 2009I got a chance to visit the new Mt Pleasant pier on Sunday. It is a beautiful place with beautiful views as you can see in these pictures. It is a great place to fish, have a picnic, and much more.
